What's included in our storm cleanup service
The answers homeowners ask us most, including what it costs.
What does storm cleanup cost?
$300 to $1,500 for a typical residential yard, driven almost entirely by volume of debris and haul-off. A property with one downed limb and scattered branches is at the bottom of that. A yard with a large limb across the beds, washed gravel, and a plugged drain system is at the top.
| Work | Typical cost |
|---|---|
| Branch and debris pickup, haul-off | $300 to $600 |
| Large limb sectioning and removal, on the ground | $400 to $900 |
| Bed repair, re-mulch, gravel reset | $250 to $800 |
| Drain and inlet clearing | $150 to $450 |
| Full property reset after a major storm | $1,000 to $1,500+ |
What we handle, and what we do not
We clear what is already down. Branches, limbs on the ground, blown mulch and gravel, damaged beds, plugged area drains and inlets, and the fence-line debris that collects after high wind.
We do not remove standing hazard trees, and we do not climb. A leaning tree, a hanging limb still in the canopy, a split trunk, or anything within reach of a power line needs a certified arborist with the right rigging and the right insurance. That is not a service we self-perform, and we will tell you straight rather than take the job.
If you are looking at a tree that worries you, call an arborist first and us second.
What to check after a DFW storm
The debris is obvious. The expensive damage usually is not.
- Area drains and inlets. Leaves and mulch plug them during heavy rain, and a plugged inlet is why the next storm floods the same spot.
- Grade around the foundation. Hard rain moves soil. Water that used to run away can start running back.
- Washed gravel and mulch. Where it ended up tells you where the water actually goes, which is useful information for fixing it properly.
- Leaning young trees. Newly planted trees rock loose in wind and need to be reset and staked before the root ball tears.
- Irrigation heads. Debris and shifting soil break risers, and a broken head runs unnoticed until the bill arrives.
How fast can you come out?
Same week in most cases, and priority for properties already on our lawn care routes, since the crew is scheduled in that neighborhood anyway.
After a metro-wide event, everyone is booked. Route customers get scheduled first because we know the property and we are already there.
Where we work
We clear storm damage across Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, and Flower Mound. Where a storm exposed a real drainage problem rather than just a clogged inlet, see drainage solutions.
Figures are typical Dallas-Fort Worth ranges for planning, not a quote. Your exact investment depends on site conditions, materials, and the scope of your project.
Storm Cleanup is usually part of a bigger plan
Most of the time this work goes in alongside a wider project, and it turns out better and costs less when the whole property is designed together rather than added a piece at a time.
