Professional landscape lighting runs $2,000-$15,000 depending on fixture count. This is low-voltage lighting for paths, trees, and the facade, the permanent system designed into the landscape. Holiday and roofline LED lighting is a different product and not what this page covers.
Westover Hills properties usually land in the upper half of the range for one simple reason: there is more to light. Longer drives, larger facades, and the mature oaks these estates are known for all add fixtures, and fixture count is what drives the price.
What each system level includes
| System level | Typical range | What it covers |
|---|
| Starter | $2,000-$4,500 | A focused system highlighting the facade and entry with a handful of fixtures. |
| Full property | $5,000-$9,000 | Architecture, trees, paths, and patio with smart control and zoning. |
| Estate | $10,000-$15,000+ | Extensive fixture count across a large property with full smart automation. |

What estate lighting actually involves
Three layers, designed together:
- The facade. Fixtures set to show the architecture at night without glare in the windows. On the stone and brick estates along Westover Road and Alta Drive, this is the layer guests see first.
- The trees. Uplighting mature oaks is what gives an established property depth after dark. Old trees are the asset here; lighting them is how the landscape reads at night.
- Paths and drives. Long drives and walks need even, low fixtures for safety that do not turn the property into a runway.
Design matters more than fixture count at this level. The goal is a property that looks composed at night, not a yard with lights in it. That is the standard we build to on our landscape lighting projects.
Where to go from here
Metro pricing detail is in our landscape lighting cost guide for Dallas, and the Southlake lighting cost guide covers a comparable market. Planning a larger project? Lighting is one layer of most Westover Hills outdoor living designs, and it is priced as part of the whole.
Figures are typical Dallas–Fort Worth ranges for planning, not a quote. Your exact investment depends on site conditions, materials, and the scope of your project.
